[서종협 기자 = 평창군] 평창군(군수 심재국)은 농협강원지역본부의 주관으로 개최된 제47회 강원 축산경진대회 암소경진대회 경산우 1부 부문에서 평창읍 이재관 농가가 최우수상을 수상함에 따라 25일 수상 농가와 축산 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 강원도농업인단체회관(춘천시 충열로 90)에서 시상식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회 심사위원들은 각 선형형질, 결점형질, 부위(일반외모, 자질, 전구, 중구, 후구, 지제) 점수를 종합하여 한우암소를 평가하였으며, 경산우 1부 부문에서 이재관(평창군) 농가가 최우수상을 수상, 그 외 우수상에 함종훈(인제시), 장려상에 김병희(원주시) 농가가 입상하였다.

지영진 축산농기계과 과장은 “코로나19, 조사료값 폭등, ASF 등 어려운 상황에서도 평창군 한우의 위상을 높여준 농가분들께 감사의 인사를 전하며, 앞으로도 지속적으로 한우개량 보조사업 등을 지원하여 우수 한우 개량의 성과를 거두겠다.”라고 말했다.

[Reporter Seo Jong-hyeop = Pyeongchang-gun] Pyeongchang-gun (Governor Shim Jae-guk) won the prize on the 25th as the Pyeongchang-eup Lee Jae-gwan farmhouse won the grand prize in the first part of the Gyeongsan Cattle Competition of the 47th Gangwon Livestock Contest hosted by the Nonghyup Gangwon Regional Headquarters. It was announced that the awards ceremony was held at the Gangwon-do Farmers' Association Hall (90 Chungyeol-ro, Chuncheon-si) in the presence of farmers and livestock officials.

 The judges of this competition evaluated the Korean cattle by synthesizing the scores of each linear trait, defect trait, and part (general appearance, quality, progenitor, midgu, fugu, and paper). Ham Jong-hoon (Inje-si) and Kim Byeong-hee (Wonju-si) were awarded the prizes and other Excellence Awards.

 Ji Young-jin, head of the Livestock and Agricultural Machinery Division, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the farmers who raised the status of Korean beef in Pyeongchang-gun even in difficult circumstances such as COVID-19, soaring forage prices, and ASF. I will take it,” he said.
