올해 모집인원은 100명으로 오는 18일 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지, 군청 4층 대회의실에서 신청 접수가 이뤄지며 신청은 4년제 또는 2~3년제 대학에 재학(휴학) 중인 학생 중 공고일 현재 본인 또는 부·모가 화천에 주민등록을 했다면 접수할 수 있고 추첨은 오는 20일 오후 2시에 이뤄질 예정이다. 

선정된 대학생들은 오는 25일부터 8월12일까지, 화천군이 운영 중인 공공시설 보조 운영과 프로그램 진행, 행정 보조업무 등을 맡게 되며 주요 업무로는 통계 및 홍보업무, 전산자료 정리, 어린이 도서관 운영보조, 붕어섬 물놀이 시설 운영보조, 노인맞춤 돌봄 서비스 운영 보조 등이다.
