[김일웅 기자= 경기북부/강원] 3월 26일 오전 11시 퇴계동에 마련된 춘천시장 예비후보(국민의 힘) 이상민 춘천시장 예비후보가 본격적인 춘천시장 출마를 위해 선거사무실 개소식을 열었다. 

이날 이상민 춘천시장 예비후보를 응원하기 위해 많은 국민의 힘 당직자들과 지지자들이 참석했다. 특히 강원도지사 출마를 선언한 전 KBS 앵커출신 황상무 예비후보(국민의 힘) 와 경쟁을 하게 된 김진태 전 국회의원까지 참석해 눈길을 끌었다.

이상민 춘천시장 예비후보는 “시장 출마는 처음이라 많이 부족하지만 퇴계동에서 8년 동안 춘천시를 위해 열심히 한 결과 시장 출마라는 도전을 할 수 있게 됐다”고 말했다. 또, “이제 시작이지만, 멋진 경선을 통해 국민의 힘이 꼭 춘천시장이 될 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다.”고 참석하신 내빈들에게 감사의 인사말을 전했다.

이상민 춘천시장 예비후보는 이날 참석한 귀빈들을 한분한분 소개하면서 진심어린 감사를 드렸다. 춘천시장을 출마한 이상민 예비후보는 ‘춘천쎄오’라는 슬로건 아래 참신한 모습과 달리 ‘외유내강’의 모습을 보이며 이미지를 확실히 각인시켰다.

이상민 춘천시장 예비후보는 춘천시장출마 경쟁 예비후보 및 시· 도의원 출마를 하는 국민의 힘 예비후보들에게 자신들을 소개 할 수 있는 배려를 통해 통 큰 이상민의 모습을 보여 이목을 끌었다.

이어 강원 도지사출마를 선언한 김진태 전의원의 축사가 이어졌다. 김 전의원은 “이상민춘천시장 예비후보에게 젊은 CEO(쎄오)답게 열심히 해줄 것이라 믿어 의심치 않는다”라고 응원의 축사를 했다.

또, 황상무 전 KBS 앵커출신 강원도지사 예비후보도“ 나도 춘천출신이다. 이렇게 훌륭한 젊은 인재들이 춘천에 많이 나와서 기쁘다 또 이런 젊은 인재들과 함께 춘천을 이끌수 있어 고맙다”라고 축사를 이어갔다.

이후 강원도지사 출마를 선언한 김진태의원과 황상무 KBS전 앵커가 “국민의 힘 파이팅!” 이라고 외치자 주변 지지자들도 큰소리로 “국민의 힘 파이팅!”아라 외치며 단합된 모습을 보였다.

이날 이상민 춘천시장 예비후보는 자신이 준비한 영상을 통해 “춘천 이젠 비행타고 오세요”라며 춘천하늘에서 펼쳐진 아름다운 춘천도시를 한 것 보여주었다.

이상민 춘천시장 예비후보는 강원일보 여론조사에서 상승세를 타고 올라오고 있다. 춘천시민들의 깨어있는 판단이 젊은 춘천시장을 만들어 낼 것이라는 지지자들의 응원소리가 이상민 예비후보에게 큰 힘이 될 것으로 보여 진다.
