[남상훈 기자 = 의정부] 지난 5일 김동근 의정부시장이 어린이날 및 가정의 달을 맞이해 성황리에 개최된 제10회 가족문화대축제에 참석했다고 밝혔다.

행사는 의정부시가 주최하고 의정부가족센터가 주관했으며 갑작스러운 우천, 돌풍으로 의정부시청 다목적이용시설, 시청 현관 로비 및 대강당에서 에어바운스 및 참여부스 등을 운영했다. 또한 직원들이 차량통제, 안내를 하는 등 최우선으로 시민들의 안전 및 편의을 위해 노력했다.

이에 악천후속에도 나들이 나온 가족들과 많은 시민들이 함께 했으며 개막행사 및 모범어린이 표창수상, 마술쇼, 체험부스, 포토존 등 많은 참여행사들이 진행됐다. 특히 포토존 및 인생네컷 등 가족들의 호응이 높은 체험으로 가족들이 서로 공감대를 형성하면서 즐거운 시간을 보냈다. 

김동근 의정부시장은 “가족문화대축제를 찾아주신 시민, 아동들과 축제를 준비하신 모든 관계자분들께 감사드린다”며 “이번 축제가 오랜만에 여는 가족행사인 만큼 참여하신 분들에게 즐거운 시간이 되었으면 한다”고 말했다.
