[남상훈 기자 = 포천시] 지난 26일 백영현 포천시장은 시청 시정회의실에서 시정방침 4대 전략의 하나인 ‘품격있는 인문 도시 포천' 구현을 위한 추진 계획안 발표 및 인문 관련 관계자 의견 수렴 등을 위해 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

간담회는 백영현 포천시장, 포천시의회 조진숙 의원, 이종훈 포천문화원장, 양호식 포천미래포럼 회장 등 각계각층의 인문 관련 관계자가 참석했다. '품격있는 인문 도시 포천' 구현을 위한 2023년 추진계획(안) 설명을 시작으로 주요 정책의 추진 방향 및 핵심 전략에 대해 각계각층의 의견 수렴과 함께 다양한 토론이 이어졌다.

백영현 포천시장은 “과거와 비교할 수 없는 물질적 풍요 속에서도 행복 찾기가 더욱 어려운 시대에 살고 있다. 시민 행복의 문을 열기 위해서는 과거의 좋은 것을 배워 현재의 문제를 극복하고, 미래로 이어나가는 품격있는 인문 도시를 구현해야 한다.”면서 “포천만의 색깔이 담긴 ‘품격있는 인문도시 포천’을 시민과 함께 만들어 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
