[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 지난 30일 신영재 홍천군수가 이태원 사고에 따른 긴급대책을 추진하기 위해 부단체장 영상회의와 지휘부 긴급회의를 개최하고 이태원 사고의 대응책을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

우선 예정된 행사에 대해 논의하고 시급하지 않은 행사나 지역축제 개최 여부를 재검토했으며 오는 2일로 예정된 군인의 날 기념행사는 사고가 수습된 이후로 연기한다.

또한, 오는 11월 1일, 3일 개최예정인 화촌면민의 날 행사와 내면 면민 한마음대회는 3년 만에 개최되는 면민 화합의 기회임을 고려해 대폭 간소화했고 4일부터 개최될 제7회 홍천 사과축제는 생산 농가의 피해 최소화를 위해 판매행사 위주로 진행한다.  

아울러 오는 11월 5일까지 이어지는 애도기간에 조기를 게양하고 소속 공무원들은 추모리본을 패용한다. 복무점검도 병행하여 품위를 손상하는 일이 없도록 공직기강을 강화하고 신속한 보고체계와 비상연락망도 유지한다.
