[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도와 저출산고령사회위원회(대통령 직속)는 오는 9월 2일 오후 2시 춘천 베어스호텔(1층 의암홀)에서 “강원도 인구변화 위기 및 지방소멸 대응방안”이란 주제로 인구정책 워크숍을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 워크숍은, 초저출생, 초고령사회 임박, 지역소멸 현상이라는 3대 인구 리스크(risk) 극복을 위해서는 지역 상생에 기초한 인구정책이 절실하다는 공감대가 형성되어, 강원도와 저출산고령사회 위원회가 공동으로 마련한 자리이다.

 

강원도와 저출산고령사회위원회는 저출산·고령화 등 현실 극복을 위해 중앙-지역간 상생 협력이 필요하다는데 뜻을 같이 하고 정책연계 강화, 지역 우수사례 공동 발굴을 위해 지난 2019년 1월 업무 협약을 체결했다.

 

이번 행사는 박진경 저출산 고령사회위원회 사무처장, 김명선 강원도 행정부지사를 대신해 배영주 강원도 정책기획관, 강원도의회 박기영, 임미선, 박관희 도의원, 춘천시 이창우 부시장, 한국보건사회연구원 이태수원장, 시군 공무원 50명 등 70여명이 참석할 예정이다.

 

행사 주요내용은 3인의 전문가(서울여대 정재훈 교수, 한신대학교 홍선미 교수, 강원도 지역균형발전지원센터 류종현센터장) 주제 발제를 들은 후, 강원도 시군 공무원들과 함께하는 분임토론의 순서로 진행된다.

 

분임토론은 강원도의 인구와 생활권 등을 고려한 6개 분임으로 나누어, 생활권 중심 주변 시군이 함께 연계협력 방안을 강구 할 수 있도록 구성 후, 쌍방향 소통으로 진행된다.
