[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 북부지방산림청은 지난 4월 21일 14시 58분경 강원도 춘천시 북산면 오항리 산125-1 인근에서 발생한 산불에 대해 17시 35분경 주불진화를 완료하고, 잔불진화 및 뒷불감시에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

이번 산불을 진화하기 위해 산불진화 헬기 5대(산림청 2, 임차 2, 소방 1)가 투입됐고, 지상에는 지휘차 1대, 진화차 4대, 소방차 8대와 공무원 및 진화대 등 100여명을 진화현장에 투입하여 산불진화를 조기에 완료했다고 했다.

이번 산불로 인한 인명피해는 없었으며 경찰 등 관계기관과 실화 등 산불 원인에 대해 집중 조사할 예정이라고 전했다.

북부지방산림청 최수천 청장은 “건조한 날씨가 지속되면서 작은 불씨에도 산불이 발생할 수 있으므로, 논·밭두렁이나 쓰레기 태우기에 특히 주의해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
