[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 14일, 동두천시 소요동 행정복지센터는 로컬드림봉사회에서 소요동 '희망 나눔상자'에 과자와 사탕 등 간식 7박스를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

로컬드림봉사회는 소외된 이웃들에게 끊임없는 관심을 기울이며 밑반찬 전달, 주거환경개선 지원 등 자발적이고 지속적인 봉사활동을 펼쳐 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다고 전했다.

로컬드림봉사회 이창민 회장은 “소요동의 이웃들을 위해 작게나마 간식을 준비해 보았다. 앞으로도 다방면으로 봉사하여 많은 분들께 도움의 손길을 내드리고 싶다”라고 밝혔다. 

장지봉 소요동장은 “코로나19의 장기화로 지역사회가 어려움을 겪고 있는 시기에 취약계층을 위한 나눔으로 지역복지 체감도 향상에 긍정적인 역할을 수행하시는 로컬드림봉사회 회원들께 깊은 감사를 드린다”라고 전했다.
