[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 14일부터, 횡성군은 '횡성한우 가죽공예지도사 자격증반'에 참가할 군민을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

군은 횡성한우를 식문화를 넘어 문화산업으로 확대 발전시켜 나가기 위해 횡성만의 차별화된 사업으로 소뿔 공예 및 가죽공예 산업을 육성하고 있다고 전했다. 

올해는 횡성한우체험관에 입점한 조이문화상점 협동조합을 통해 ‘가죽공예 지도사 자격증반’ 교육생을 모집하며, 모집 기간은 오는 14일부터 31일까지이고, 교육은 10주간 주 1회씩 운영되며, 횡성한우 원피를 사용해 지도사 급수별 6작품 이상 '키링, 카드케이스, 미니 반지갑 등'을 제작하게 된다고 했다. 

횡성한우 가죽 원피를 활용한 생활소품과 공예품에 관심 있는 사람이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 급수별(1급 및 2급) 10명씩 선착순 모집하고, 2급 과정은 오는 4월 23일 ~ 6월 30일까지 진행되며, 1급 과정은 오는 7월 6일 ~ 9월 21일 운영되고, 2급 민간자격증을 취득해야 1급 취득이 가능하며, 수강료는 무료이고 민간자격증 취득에 따른 발급비와 재료비 일부는 유료라고 했다.
