회의에는 재난안전실장, 보건복지여성국장 등 道 7개 실국장과, 18개 시․군 부단체장이 참가하여 설 연휴 기간 대규모 이동에 따른 코로나19 감염확산을 차단하기 위한 도, 시․군 특별 방역대책을 점검했고, 지난 1월 18일에 개최된 ‘22년 제1회 중앙지방정책협의회 및 안정정책조정위원회에서 논의된 「설 민생안정 종합대책」과 「설 연휴 안전대책」을 시군에 전달했다고 했다.

강원도는 설 연휴기간을 포함한 14일간(1.20.~2.2.)을 특별 방역기간으로 정하고 특히, 설 연휴기간(1.29~2.2) 종합대책상황실을 운영, 방역관리를 강화하기로 했다고 전했다.

이번 설 연휴 기간에 선물과 제수 구입을 위해 불특정 다수가 모일 것으로 예상되는 도내 전통시장, 대형마트 등 유통매장의 방역점검을 강화하고, 이동량 증가에 따른 교통시설, 고향 방문에 따른 밀집이 예상되는 고위험시설에 대하여 감염위험 최소화를 위한 특별점검을 실시할 계획이라고 했다.
