[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 25일 캠코(한국자산관리공사)는 캠코 기업구조혁신지원센터(강남구 도곡동)에서 한국에너지기술평가원(KETEP*)과 「우수 기술 중소·회생기업 경영정상화 지원을 위한 업무협약」을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

 

* KETEP(Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning, 에기평)은 에너지부문 산업기술 경쟁력 강화를 위한 국가 연구개발 지원과 과제를 기획·평가·관리하는 산업통상자원부 산하기관

 

이번 업무협약은 캠코가 한국에너지기술평가원과의 협업을 통해 기술력 평가의 적정성을 강화함으로써, 캠코가 제공하는 회생기업 지원금융(DIP*)을 정상화 가능성이 높은 중소․회생기업에 적기 제공하기 위해 추진됐다고 했다. 

 

 * DIP(Debtor In Possession) 금융 : 회생기업의 기존 경영인을 유지하는 제도로, 회생기업에 신규자금을 지원하는 금융 제도

 

지난 2019년부터 회생기업 지원금융 제공을 위해 한국산업기술평가관리원 등과 협업해 중소․회생기업의 기술력 분석을 하고 있는 캠코는, 이번 협약으로 에너지 특화 중소․회생기업에 대한 기술력 평가와 지원의 적정성 강화를 기대하고 있다고 했다.  

 

협약을 통해 한국에너지기술평가원은 에너지 특화 기업 중 기술력이 우수한 중소․회생기업을 캠코에 추천하고, 캠코는 신규자금 공급 등 경영정상화를 위한 금융지원 프로그램을 제공한다고 했다. 

 

아울러, 두 기관은 경영애로를 겪는 기업에 대한 투자매칭 지원, 에너지 R&D 참여 기회 제공 등을 통해 기업의 경쟁력을 높이고 재도약을 지원하는데도 긴밀하게 협조해 갈 예정이라고 전했다.

 

또한, 캠코는 한국에너지기술평가원과 더불어 한국산업기술평가관리원․한국산업기술진흥원 등 기술력 평가기관과 공동 협의회 구성을 추진해 정보공유 체계 구축 등 우수 중소․회생기업 정상화를 위해 힘을 모을 방침이라고 전했다.

 

신흥식 캠코 사장 직무대행은 “이번 업무협약이 기술력은 있지만 일시적으로 위기를 겪고 있는 중소․회생기업 경영정상화에 도움이 되길 기대한다”며, “앞으로도 캠코는 유관기관과 긴밀히 협업해 경쟁력 있는 중소․회생기업이 우리 경제의 활력소가 될 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

 

한편, 캠코는 ’19년 11월부터 자회사 캠코기업지원금융(주)을 통해 ’21년 10월말 기준 총 79개 중소․회생기업에 약 616억원의 회생기업 지원금융을 지원했으며, 온라인 종합포털사이트 온기업을 통해 경영애로기업의 정상화를 위한 다양한 지원 프로그램을 제공하고 있다고 전했다.
