경기도와 (재)경기대진테크노파크와 함께 하는 홈 인테리어 일자리 창출사업은 사회적 문제로 발생하는 청장년 일자리 해결을 위한 방안으로 현장 맞춤형 전문화 일자리를 창출하는 사업이라고 했다.

지원대상은 가구 취·창업을 희망하는 경기도민으로, 주방가구 시공설치 분야를 집중적으로 육성한다고 전했다.

대진대학교 교수회관에 설치된 교육장에서 주방가구 시공 설치 이론 및 현장교육 등 4주 교육 후 가구기업 취업연계를 실시하며, 올해는 주방가구 교육으로 한정하고 향후 일반가구, 실내장식 등 홈 퍼니싱 전반의 교육으로 확장할 예정이라고 했다.

개소식에 참석한 포천시 심창보 부시장은 “교육을 수료하면 가구기업 현장교육을 통해 취업을 연계하고 있다. 평소 가구분야에 관심이 있는 청장년들의 많은 참여를 바라며, 포천시도 홈 인테리어 일자리 창출사업이 계속 추진될 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
